The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS) has built a world-class reputation for compassionate patient care, cutting-edge research, and hands-on training programs for resident physicians and clinical fellows. We are seeking candidates for a Uveitis position that will involve patient care, teaching, and research. The position will be estimated at the following : uveitis (.4 FTE) and one of the following : comprehensive, medical retina, or glaucoma (.4 FTE) and academic time (.2 FTE) ophthalmology position. Candidates must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license at the time of hire. Research opportunities are available for interested candidates.
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law, and every four years.
