• Work 3x12 day shifts from 06 : 45 - 19 : 15
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2 years Med Surg / Tele experience
• NV RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam to include identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
• Work on 29 bed unit staffed with RN's and CNA / CCT's
• Staffing ratio between 1 : 4-6
• Care for combination of tele and medical status patients with diagnoses including COPD, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, DM, GI bleed
• All tele patients are monitored remotely by a CCT
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve Days = 1 Holiday)
• Must pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
