Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Associate of Applied Science or Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
• Certifications Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or ARRT-CV)
  • Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience (Neurovascular and VIR)
• Other Requirements:
  • Ability to push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk long distances and stand for up to 240 minutes
  • Working knowledge of ultrasonographic, fluoroscopic, CT, EHR, and PACS equipment

Job Responsibilities

• Provide advanced interventional radiology procedures, including neurovascular and VIR interventions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to physician instructions.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasonographic, fluoroscopic, and CT imaging equipment to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by handling equipment, monitoring patient status, and ensuring optimal imaging quality.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and occupational health guidelines to minimize risks associated with radiation, hazardous materials, and patient interactions.
