Job Description

The Business Operations Manager will play a critical role in supporting the strategy, operations, and execution of the Analytics organization for ServiceNow. This is a highly visible role for a strategic operator who thrives in complex environments. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior executives, ensuring that the Analytics organization runs efficiently, communicates effectively, and executes against its priorities with excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of analytical rigor, operational acumen, and strong communication skills, with a proven track record of navigating large, matrix organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with the Chief of Staff and other leaders to define and operationalize strategic priorities, OKRs, and annual plans.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives across the Analytics organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational performance through data-driven insights and process optimization.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage operational rhythms including quarterly business reviews, leadership offsites, and strategic planning cycles.
  • Design and maintain governance frameworks to ensure high-quality decision-making and accountability.
  • Develop analysis and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into organizational performance.
  • Organizational Leadership

  • Act as a force multiplier for the leadership team by managing high-priority projects and ensuring follow-through on commitments.
  • Serve as a proxy in meetings and communications when appropriate, ensuring continuity and clear messaging.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other G&A functions to support headcount planning, budget management, and other operating / planning cadences
  • Communications & Stakeholder Management

  • Craft clear and compelling executive communications, including board-level presentations, org-wide updates, and strategic narratives.
  • Facilitate effective information flow between executives, managers, and teams.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to influence outcomes and align stakeholders.
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you have :

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Experience : 8+ years of professional experience, including significant time in strategy, operations, analytics, or Chief of Stafftype roles within large, complex organizations.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret complex business information and generate actionable insights.
  • Organizational Acumen : Proven ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment.
  • Communications : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with executives and large audiences.
  • Leadership : Strategic thinker who can influence without authority, drive alignment, and execute effectively.
  • Technical Familiarity : Experience with modern analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL) and enterprise software is a plus.

    For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $135,300 - $236,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable / incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
