Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong expertise in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform (warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, snowpipes, tasks, streams)
Proficiency in SQL and PLSQL programming
Hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, Star and snowflake schema, Fact and dimension modeling
Understanding of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs) and normalization / denormalization strategies
Good understanding of data modeling principles for OLAP and OLTP systems
Experience with data ingestion and integration using ETL / ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or equivalent)
Familiarity with data lakes and handling large volumes of structured and semi-structured data
Strong skills in query performance tuning and optimization

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a hybrid work environment

Knowledge of additional cloud data platforms

Experience with agile methodologies

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions using the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and reliability

Optimize and tune queries for enhanced performance

Develop and maintain ETL / ELT processes
