Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a current CA RN license and significant large-volume ER experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a large, high-volume level II trauma center

Night shifts, 4x12 hours per week from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am

Frequent exposure to a patient census over 90,000 annually

Use of Epic EMR system

Weekend shifts required according to department needs

No floating required outside the ER unit

First-time travelers accepted if minimum experience is met

Epic EMR training provided during orientation

Maximum of 5 days pre-approved time off allowed per contract, with no time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year holidays

Modules for orientation and training completed pre-start and during onboarding

Locals accepted for this position

Requirements

Active CA RN license in hand at the time of consideration

Minimum 2.5 years recent experience in a large volume (>

90,000 annual visits) level II trauma ER

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications

Travel nursing experience required

No prior permanent employment with the facility

No Nursys hits

Reference from within the past 2 years required
