John Jackson Neighborhood Real Estate is a fast-moving, community-focused residential real estate brokerage based in Kirkwood. Our strength is in local market knowledge, sales and deep client relationships; now we’re looking for an operational leader to refine the systems, processes, and team structure that will help us scale.
The Role
We’re seeking a General Manager who thrives on organization, leadership, and execution. This is a “right hand” role for the owner—someone who will translate vision into action, streamline operations, and ensure the business runs with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize business systems (CRM, sales / marketing workflows, transaction processes, automation tools like Zapier).
- Oversee day-to-day operations : scheduling, vendor management, transaction flow, compliance.
- Lead and manage support staff (marketing, transaction coordinator, admin as we grow).
- Drive accountability : track metrics, manage reporting, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements across the business.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the owner, helping prioritize and execute on strategic goals.
- Job Type : "Nearly" Full-time - Some flexibilty with hours / days.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in operations, business management, or team leadership (real estate experience a plus, not required).Proven success in building systems and processes in a small-to-mid-sized business.Tech-savvy (CRM, automation tools, spreadsheets, project management platforms, emerging AI platforms).Strong leadership and communication skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and execution-driven.Comfortable working directly with an entrepreneur and balancing multiple priorities.Compensation
