Integrated Logistics Specialist
Help perform technical work in support of Integrated Logistics (ILS), the purpose of which is to support maintenance, repair, and modernization of all ships.
Conduct / coordinate the evaluation of design, configuration, and engineering changes for major components of new / extensively modified equipment systems.
Provide technical advice and monitor submission of provision technical data (PTD) to the proper authority for development of allowance parts lists (APLs) to support and ensure critical logistics support.
Support the Integrated Logistic Overhauls (ILOs) and Phased Maintenance Reviews (PMRs) process by providing and coordinating all ILS aspects related to equipment alterations during CNO availability.
Provide ILS services in support of the NSA Engineering Department Assessment process, including the comprehensive review and validation of all configuration records associated with the shipboard equipment being assessed.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and / or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Forklift Operator license.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and / or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Your resume must have at least one year of specialized experience performing Logistics Management Specialist work equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent pay band or equivalent experience in the private sector.
Specialized experience includes performing configuration and logistical support work which requires applying a broad knowledge of logistics principles, concepts and methods that encompasses a wide range of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functionality applicable to ships undergoing modernization, conversion, and / or repair.
Experience performing analytical and investigative assignments in support of the assessment and validation of shipboard equipment and systems which contributes to accurate configuration information and the correct identification of logistics support elements is required.
Experience performing technical investigations, research and analysis to determine baseline configuration and Allowance Parts Lists (APL) for shipboard equipment and systems.
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience : Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
