Job description

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-facing Functional Architect with deep subject matter expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing . The ideal candidate will be a key contributor in our client engagements, responsible for leading discovery workshops, analyzing business requirements, and designing robust and scalable solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle Manufacturing Cloud. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis : Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to manufacturing processes, including discrete, process, and mixed-mode manufacturing, production scheduling, and shop floor control.

Solution Design & Configuration : Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle Manufacturing Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.

Advisory & Strategy : Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best-in-class manufacturing processes and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.

Implementation Leadership : Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.

Sales & Presales Support : Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.

Mentorship : Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing.

Qualifications

Experience : A minimum of 15 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 5 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge : In-depth understanding of core manufacturing processes, including :

Work Execution and Production Management

Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routings

Work Definition and Production Scheduling

Costing and Work Order Processing

Client Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage client relationships, conduct effective workshops, and present complex information clearly and concisely.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address client challenges.

Education : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Cloud implementation certifications, specifically in Manufacturing Cloud.

Experience with other Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud modules (e.g., Inventory, Planning).

Experience with integrations to ERP and PLM systems.

Travel : 50% travel to Austin, TX for the first 6-8 months and then 25% going travel.

US : Hiring Range in USD from $46.30 to $95.91 per hour; from : $96,300 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
