Nuclear Electrical Engineer

Position : Nuclear Electrical Engineer

Location : Candidate has to be able to work out of their Charlotte, NC or Stonington, CT office

Duration of project : 6 months +

Qualifications :

• BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or related discipline.
• 15+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 10+ years in nuclear power plants with hands-on field experience.
• Expertise in nuclear plant electrical systems : power distribution, I&C, motor control centers, backup power, protection relays, and safety systems.
• Familiarity with nuclear operating procedures, licensing, and NRC regulations.
• Skilled in design, modifications, equipment selection, and system evaluation.
• Knowledge of IEEE, NEC / NFPA, ASME, NEMA, and nuclear-specific codes.
• Professional Engineering registration (PE) is desirable.
