Job descriptionSet up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results Perform X-ray imaging procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and quality Thoroughly document all patient services within a patients chart Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary Follow all safety protocols, including the use of lead shielding and radiation safety guidelines. Greet and prepare patients for their appointments, gathering accurate medical histories and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight). Assist healthcare providers with exams, procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and manage patient specimens for lab work. Administer injections and other procedures, as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with medical charting desired Strong attention to detail
