Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patients, including children and geriatrics.
- Manage medication regimens, prescribe psychotropic medications, and monitor efficacy and side effects.
- Utilize EHR systems like Medent for documentation and offer telehealth services ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, participate in clinical research, and educate patients and families about mental health.
- Engage in quality improvement, maintain billing proficiency, and support procedures like TMS.
- Follow infection control protocols and sterile techniques during clinical interventions.
Requirements include a Master’s in Nursing, certification as a PMHNP, valid licensure with prescriptive authority, and experience with diverse populations. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, assessment, and communication skills are essential. The role is part-time with a salary range of $70,800 to $85,265 per year, including paid time off, and involves in-person work.
