Position : Medical / Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : March 17, 2025

End Date : June 16, 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights

Hours per Week : 48 guaranteed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state (NY RN jobs preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg) setting

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Ability to serve as charge nurse and provide clinical leadership

Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Medical / Surgical unit

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Monitor patient progress, document care accurately, and ensure patient safety

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Serve as charge nurse as needed, supporting and guiding nursing staff
