As a Permanent Plant Manager in the Paper / Fabric Technology sector of our Manufacturing industry, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and manage the entire operations of our plant. Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
2. Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
3. Set the strategy for continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodology and lead the team in implementing these initiatives.
4. Manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a strong culture of quality control.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate these into efficient production processes.
7. Develop and nurture a culture of excellence and accountability within the team, providing leadership and direction to drive performance and growth.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in paper / fabric technology.
3. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial management.
5. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
6. Proficient in quality control processes and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing sector.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
9. Proven ability to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
10. Knowledge of product requirements in the paper / fabric technology sector would be a significant advantage.
