  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize and analyze the best path to resolution, in a fast-paced environment is essential.        We are seeking a skilled and proactive System / Network Administrator with expertise in Windows Server OS, VMware vCenter, ESXi, Hyperconverged Systems, Cisco switching and routing, Cisco Meraki, Microsoft 365 administration and Azure, PowerShell scripting, and backup and recovery solutions.

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and up-to-date maintenance of our diverse IT infrastructure.     This role does require to be on an After-Hour Support rotation.     Responsibilities :

  • Systems Management : Manage and maintain Windows Server operating systems, VMware vCenter, ESXi, and hyperconverged systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.   Network Administration : Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco switching and routing infrastructure along with Cisco Meraki devices to ensure seamless connectivity and network performance.   Cloud Services Management : Oversee Microsoft 365 administration, including user management, security settings, and troubleshooting to ensure effective utilization of cloud services.   Scripting and Automation : Utilize PowerShell scripting for automating routine tasks, system monitoring, and configuration management to streamline operational processes.   Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage backup solutions for critical systems and data, ensuring data integrity, availability, and timely recovery in the event of a disaster or data loss.   Security Management : Implement security best practices across systems and networks to protect against cybersecurity threats, including monitoring and responding to security incidents.   Patch Management : Perform regular patching and updates for operating systems, applications, and firmware to address security vulnerabilities and ensure system reliability.   Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

    • Generate regular reports on system performance, security status, and compliance.   Technical Support :

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT team members to resolve system-related issues promptly.   Capacity Planning : Monitor system resources and performance metrics to identify trends and anticipate future capacity requirements.

    • Recommend upgrades or optimizations to meet evolving business needs.     Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.   Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role, with expertise in managing Windows Server OS, VMware vSphere, Cisco networking, and Microsoft 365 administration.   Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.   Experience with backup and recovery solutions, including configuration and management.   Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.   Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security +) are a plus.   Must be bondable.      Powered by JazzHR
