Job descriptionInpatient setting. Work in an Acute psychiatric unit / institute with 22 beds. See an average of 10-12 patients per shift . No required supervision of Advance Practice Providers or Residents / Teaching. The ratio of follow-up to new evaluations is 10 : 1 . Flexible schedule available-you pick the shift-based dates that work for you. Coverage is for Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (Days, 8 : 00 AM start time). No Admissions Required . Required Clinical Areas include Anxiety, Affective, ADD / ADHD, Personality, Eating, Development, Psychotic, and Organic disorders. Treatment techniques include Pharmacotherapy, Group therapy, Family therapy, and ECT. Familiarity With Involuntary commitments, Seclusion therapy, and Restraint application. Physician Board Certified in Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry . MUST be Child and Adolescent Certified . Active MA License is required to bid on this locums role. Required Certifications include ACLS , BLS , PALS , and ABLS . Estimated Credentialing Timeframe is 60 days . Temporary privileges are available to speed up the process. Bridge employment gaps or transitions between permanent positions by taking on locum assignments, maintaining income and professional engagement during transitional periods.
