Job Summary :

The National Owner Accounts / Business Development - Manager, has primary responsibility for winning national-level specification share and ultimately driving revenue growth for Zurn Elkay’s portfolio of products across Retail verticals. This includes targeting, influencing, and managing a diverse range of stakeholders within strategic end customer relationships and related opportunities with retail companies. This position is a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies to grow new construction, retrofit, and maintenance / repair opportunities across all of Zurn Elkay Water Solutions’ product lines. We are looking for resourceful, self-motivated business development management professional with multiple years of experience in building relationships, cultivating partnerships, retaining top accounts, and growing profit channels by establishing trust with key decision-makers.

Responsibilities :

  • Act as a key contributor to the success of the National Owner Accounts (NOA) team, which focuses on Zurn Elkay’s largest, most strategic national end customer relationships
  • Identify, develop and secure new NOA Retail Customer relationships and related opportunities (business development) to expand Zurn Elkay's NOA share of spec, and presence within the market
  • In alignment with annual goals and objectives, deliver consistent increase national specification share and drive revenue growth for potential and targeted accounts within the Retail vertical, as well as identifying and qualifying a new vertical opportunity for the NOA team
  • Serve as the key point of contact for existing and new NOA customers within the Retail vertical and new vertical
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matters experts both internally and externally to drive national specifications growth for Zurn Elkay products lines across capital projects / new construction, retrofits, and maintenance / repair strategies and opportunities
  • Recommend new solutions by leveraging the Zurn Elkay install base to support future customer needs
  • Partner with business units and wider Zurn Elkay sales organization to negotiate and implement long term business agreements around the full portfolio of Zurn’s products, including its digital products and services
  • Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities that result in increased ease of doing business, improved customer satisfaction, and reduced operational costs
  • Accurately provide monthly pipeline, wins, and forecast data to the Commercial Sales organization.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in business, engineering, or marketing.
  • 10 years of strategic account management or sales management experience.
  • Ability to leverage background and existing contacts and knowledge into a role focusing on helping represent Zurn Elkay generate new specification opportunities with repeatable footprint national retailers.
  • Experience selling across the diverse Retail Vertical at a national level required.
  • Experience in commercial / industrial water safety, plumbing, or building materials sales preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meets monthly reporting requirements around pipeline, wins, and forecast data
  • Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

  • This role requires 30-40% travel.
