Responsibilities –

• Conducting daily resident rounds and initiating action to address resident concerns.
• Communicates directly with Physicians, Pharmacy, Therapy staff, and other outside health providers.
• Assures medication are ordered and available for nursing staff responsible for assisting residents with medications as per DOH regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Provides direct resident care when needed in accordance with regulations and professional standards of practice.
• Assures compliance with nursing policies regarding medical documentation.
• Provide direct oversight to staff nurses and personal care aides.
