About The Position
Opportunity Details
A hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, has an opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist to assist with locum coverage.
Opportunity Overview :
- Schedule : Monday-Friday
- Call Requirement : Weeknights (5p-7 : 30a) and weekends (24-hour), 1 week per month
- Setting : Inpatient and outpatient
- Daily Volume : ~4 inpatients, ~25-30 outpatients
- Cases : Thyroid, H&N, thoracic, GI, GU, sarcoma, melanoma, lymphoma, metastatic disease
- Duties : Procedures, consultations, treatment planning, treatment supervision, OTV patient management, follow-ups
- Required Procedures : 3D, IMRT, and SBRT
- Equipment : Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, Cyberknife, Elekta HDR
- Support Staff : Radiation oncologists, practice manager, RNs, MAs, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, office staff, and procedure scheduler
- EMR : Aria and Cerner
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
