Description : JOB SUMMARY :
Provides leadership and administrative support to assigned clinical services department. Plans, directs, evaluates and controls activities within patient care delivery models. Analyzes financial and other data for effective decision making.
JOB DUTIES :
- Directs services and activities of assigned clinical services department and profit centers.
- Develops and reviews clinical services department activities.
- Directs the yearly update of the clinical services department's strategic plan.
- Oversees the accounting mechanisms to ensure the financial integrity of separate reporting systems for each physician and profit center.
- Directs daily operations of assigned clinical services departments to provide quality service and support to patients and physicians.
- Remains current in field and participates in local, state and / or national programs.
- Performs administrative duties pertaining to procedural costs, revenue performance, and operational cost analysis. Prepares and monitors capital and operational budget for assigned areas.
- Provides a positive example for staff by promoting and enforcing Clinic and department policies and procedures and ensures staff compliance.
- Accepts and performs any other duties as assigned by administration.
Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :
Required :
Bachelor's degree in Health Care or Business Administration.
Five years interviewing experience and supervising employment activities.
Management experience with a minimum of five (5) years' progressive experience required.
Preferred :
Master's degree in business, nursing or health related profession preferred.
Experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
