SR EPIC PROGRAMMER / ANALYST - RESEARCH

General Summary / Responsibilities :

Premier Health utilizes the Epic system as the electronic medical record (EMR) in which patient health information is entered and stored for the purpose of securing patient clinical information and enhancing patient care.  Premier Health employs multiple Epic Teams that specialize in a range of applications within the Epic EMR.

The Sr Epic Programmer Analyst - Research position specializes on the Epic EMR applications that support research, research billing, and clinical trials. This position is responsible for analysis of complex workflows, advanced system configuration and development, application deployment and support, change documentation, and will educate and inform staff on Epic functionality. The individual will anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-set based on a strong fundamental knowledge of their application and how it integrates with other systems. This individual will understand the organizational infrastructure and can recommend solutions that enable the enterprise to achieve its goals. These responsibilities require the individual to be a knowledge leader for their systems and / or applications. The individual delivers results across multiple teams to provide solutions for the enterprise. The position requires frequent direct interaction with a wide and varied customer base that includes Principal Investigators, researchers, clinicians and billing.

This position can be 100% out-of-state remote within the continental United States.  Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
