About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales for its beverage portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the sales strategy across national and regional account chains, driving channel strategy, and overseeing the development and performance of the national small and large format sales teams. This role requires a leader who can deliver on volume and market share growth, coach and develop their team, and lead the 360-degree selling process to maximize in-store execution and consumer offtake. The SVP of Sales will also be responsible for building and executing category strategy, maximizing offtake through shopper marketing, and establishing routines to cascade channel strategy to regional key account sales teams.
Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Sales position should have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in small and large format teams, with a strong preference for those with a Bachelor's degree and over 15 years in key account business management. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in DSD beverage sales, and experience with major retailers is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and buyer relationship building skills, be adept at leading and developing teams, and have the ability to move fast and drive results. Responsibilities also include cultivating and managing relationships with key buyers and leading the team in delivering custom sales pitch decks for the company's products.
