Financial Analyst Opportunity In Middlesex County, NJ

We are looking for a Financial Analyst in Middlesex County, NJ area. In this role you will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and more. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, this might be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities :

  • Create and prepare annual budgets.
  • Conduct detailed variance analyses and produce period-end profit and loss (P&L) reports.
  • Create and post monthly journal entries with precision.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Develop forecasts for current-year expenses and income.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP and IF formulas, for complex data analysis and reporting.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial modeling applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied schedules based on business needs.
