  • Healthcare Setting : Medical / Surgical Unit, Level 3 Trauma Center\n
  • Employment Type : Travel RN Contract\n
  • Start Date : November 17, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 16, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift Schedule : 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), weekends included\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,680 - $1,800\n
  • Patient Load : Up to 18 patients (expanding to 24)\n
  • Electronic Health Record : Medhost\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Tennessee RN license (Registered Nurse)\n
  • BLS certification (required prior to start)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience\n
  • Ability to pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment\n
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills\n
  • Critical care thinking preferred\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients\n
  • Manage patient ratios up to 6 : 1 in a busy medical / surgical unit\n
  • Monitor and treat common diagnoses : pneumonia, CVA, CP, post-surgical recovery, electrolyte imbalances, DVT\n
  • Utilize clinical equipment including bladder scanners and glucometers\n
  • Document patient care in Medhost EHR system\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Maintain professional appearance (scrub color : any)\n
