CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine is seeking a quality‑driven, patient‑centered BE / BC Skull Based Neurosurgeon to join our progressive and rapidly expanding Neuroscience Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. Our strategic plan includes development of a neurosurgery residency program in coming years.
Opportunity open to both the experienced BC Neurosurgeon as well as new board‑eligible grads who are looking to be a part of this exciting vision and grow the Neurosurgery Division.
The opportunity is well suited for an academically driven Neurosurgeon, interested in working in a teaching environment.
This position is perfect for a dual trained vascular / endovascular Neurosurgeon interested in maintaining a practice in general neurosurgery at a Level I Trauma Center. Primary practice location is at the Creighton University Medical Center Bergan Mercy.
The Neuroscience Institute integrates leading medical experts in neurology, neuroradiology, neuro‑critical care, radiation oncology and neurosurgery to offer highly advanced care for patients with the most complex neurological disorders.

Job Requirements
Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Provide clear and concise medical information.
Foster a collaborative and patient‑centered approach to healthcare.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
Perform procedures as needed.
Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Pay Range
$400.00 - $500.00 / hour
