We are seeking a Resident Engineer / Inspector (REI) with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license to serve as the owners representative on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects. This role is PE-driven combining engineering oversight construction management and project leadership. The REI will provide daily on-site supervision ensure compliance with design and contract requirements and coordinate with contractors agencies and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Candidates must hold a New York PE license ; a New Jersey PE license is highly desirable as the company expands into NJ. This is a fully on-site long-term role with direct responsibility for managing complex projects including bridges tunnels heavy foundations utility relocations and civil infrastructure work.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight & Field Management

• Serve as the owners on-site representative overseeing all construction activities and contractor operations.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved drawings specifications codes and contract documents.
• Conduct daily field inspections documenting progress safety compliance and quality control issues.
• Resolve field conflicts and design clarifications promptly to minimize delays.
• Manage multiple stakeholders including contractors subcontractors design teams utility companies and regulatory agencies.
