Job description

Project Manager / Business Unit Leader

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Unit Leader in Nashville, TN to lead and grow civil, transportation, and construction materials testing (CMT) projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects, oversee field and lab staff, and build client relationships while driving business growth in the Nashville market.

Position Highlights :

  • Pay : $95,000$120,000 / year
  • Location : Nashville, TN
  • Schedule : MF, 8 : 00am5 : 00pm CST
  • Work Environment : On-site leadership role

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage civil, transportation, airport, and CMT projects
  • Oversee budgets, scheduling, and proposal preparation
  • Manage and mentor local field and lab staff
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to grow business in Nashville
  • Ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, and Tennessee DOT standards

    • Qualifications :

  • BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 5+ years of civil engineering, transportation, airport, or CMT experience
  • Strong leadership, project management, and client development skills
  • Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, TDOT, and CMT procedures
