About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse (RN)

Specialty : Med-Surg / Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2+ years of current Med-Surg / Telemetry experience required. Strong PCU experience required. Minimum of 3 months previous travel experience required. Charge experience is required.

License : State License

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• Charge experience
• Drip experience
• Ability to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice

Description :

This is an adaptive acuity unit.

On occasion, travelers will be asked to provide PCU care at a 3 : 1 ratio.

This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused.

A charge nurse is required for this need.

Do not upload a traveler without charge experience or who will not work charge.

Holiday time off requests will not be considered for this need.

All available holiday time has already been reserved.

The nurse to patient ratio will be 1 : 5.

There are 25 beds in this unit.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requests made after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer.

Profile must include work history, a skills checklist pertinent to the position, and a signed supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment.
