What you’ll be doing :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support financial operations, process optimization, and data-driven decision making across the organization. This role will focus on gathering and analyzing operational and financial data, identifying opportunities to improve business performance, supporting ERP and reporting systems, and ensuring the accuracy of core financial processes such as invoicing, accounts receivable, and logistics. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of business operations, accounting systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Location : Solon, OH Preferred but will consider The Woodlands, TX.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Analytics
- Gather, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document, analyze, and improve business processes.
- Analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Assist with Board of Directors presentations and ad hoc financial analysis for management.
- Provide analytical insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Accounts Receivable – Invoicing
Generate customer invoices upon fulfillment of sales orders.Update and correct invoices as necessary when sales order details change.Review bank data and remittance advice to apply payments to customer accounts in NetSuite.Accounts Receivable – Aging A / R
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.Collaborate with sales and leadership to resolve overdue accounts and gather payment updates.Provide order and payment details, invoice copies, and other documentation as requested.Open Orders Management
Monitor unfulfilled orders to identify issues or delays.Communicate with production leads to obtain status updates.Provide timely updates to the order fulfillment team.Logistics
Support the scheduling and coordinating of freight shipments.Run monthly freight analysis.Optimize Locus freight program.Qualifications & Requirements
2+ years of experience in Analytical roleProficient in Microsoft Excel.Experience with BI tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP / accounting software preferred.Physical Requirements :
