This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Security Engineer, Operational Technology – Remote in the United States .
This role provides a unique opportunity to work on advanced Operational Technology (OT) security initiatives across diverse industrial environments. You will deliver consulting and technical services to assess, secure, and optimize OT systems, helping organizations mitigate risk and improve resilience. The position requires deep technical expertise in OT cybersecurity, familiarity with industrial networks, and hands-on experience with OT security tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, produce high-quality deliverables, and contribute to the evolution of OT security practices. Accountabilities :
- Deliver OT security services, including architecture reviews, validated design assessments, and engineering advisory services.
- Deploy and configure OT security tools such as Claroty, Dragos, Nozomi, and Tenable OT.
- Author comprehensive deliverables tailored to both technical and managerial audiences, detailing execution, risks, business impact, and remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide guidance, recommendations, and hands-on support for OT security initiatives.
- Continuously improve technical skills, industry knowledge, and OT security methodologies.
- Perform operational and consulting tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality outcomes for projects.
- Support client relationship management and act as a trusted advisor in OT security matters.
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years performing OT-related security services.At least two (2) years of experience in enterprise-level consulting roles.Strong understanding of OT, IoT, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles.Knowledge of OT security frameworks such as ISA / IEC 62443, NIST-CSF, and NIST 800-82.Familiarity with the Purdue Model Framework for industrial control systems.Experience with OT security tools, including Claroty, Dragos, Nozomi, or Tenable OT.Operational Technology penetration testing experience is preferred.Certifications such as GICSP or GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) are a plus.Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Ability to handle client-facing engagements, present findings clearly, and provide actionable recommendations.Benefits
