A cashier provides fast and friendly guest service by operating cash registers, accurately completing transactions, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the travel center, and managing inventory. Responsibilities also include helping with stocking and assisting with other travel center functions to ensure a positive customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service : Greet guests, provide fast and friendly service, and maintain a guest-focused culture.
• Accurate Transactions : Process sales transactions using cash registers and other necessary equipment.
• Inventory Management : Maintain and manage inventory on shelves.
• Store Appearance : Ensure the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store and travel center.
• Equipment Operation : Use computers, telephones, and other equipment as needed to perform job duties.
• Teamwork : Assist with other travel center functions, which may include maintaining the deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, or making coffee.
