Delivery Technician
The Delivery Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up equipment to customers. Duties and responsibilities include working directly with customers in their homes delivering and picking up durable medical equipment, coordinating with Respiratory Therapists to provide additional equipment as needed, completing delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately, ensuring equipment is cleaned properly and in accordance with Reliable Respiratory's standards, maintaining the Company vehicle in a clean, safe operating condition and completing logs as required, assisting in receiving orders and putting away inventory as needed, complying with all policies and procedures established by the company and the company's regulatory bodies, and other tasks and duties as required.
Basic Qualifications include being 21 years of age or older, eligible to work in the United States and not requiring work authorization from us now or in the future, having a valid US driver's license, having no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents on the driving record within the last 3 years, having no alcohol or drug related offences, having at least 1 year of professional driving experience, and having a High School diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills include effective and professional verbal and written communication skills, ability to reconcile multiple shifting logistical factors for each appointment, ability to work independently to investigate and make decisions, computer skills (Microsoft Office), familiarity with FDA regulations, ability to work flexible hours and be on-call outside of normal business hours when required, ability to comply with guidelines both internal and industry-imposed, and bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Physical demands include maintaining a stationary position, moving, traversing, ascending / descending, balancing or positioning self to complete the assigned tasks, exerting up to 100 pounds of force, and operating a motor vehicle. The work environment includes exposure to cleaning product fumes and dust, outside weather conditions, moderate to loud noise level, and possible exposure to body fluids which can contain blood-borne pathogens and hazardous material including liquid or gaseous oxygen.
