Position Highlights

  • Competitive hourly pay : $22.51 - $33.14 based on experience
  • Additional compensation available for bilingual skills

What You'll Do :

  • Update and maintain patient medical records, including vital signs, treatments, medications, and immunization records.
  • Prepare for patient visits by reviewing medical files and collaborating with Providers to ensure efficient scheduling and continuity of care.
  • Maintain and prepare exam rooms, explain procedures to patients, provide education and coaching, and assist physicians during exams.
  • Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medication, and perform various clinical responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent military training.
  • Preferably one year of experience as a CMA.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • National credential from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) proficiency is required at level 10.
  • Strong medical knowledge and an understanding of medical theories and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage diverse personalities and backgrounds.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic, and EMR systems.
