Job Title : Medical Assistant - Women's Health

Location : West Hartford, CT

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (One evening shift per week until 6 : 00-7 : 30 PM)

What You'll Do

Provide hands-on support to physicians during patient visits and procedures.

Room patients, take vitals, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system.

Communicate test and lab results to patients with clarity and care.

Coordinate with pharmacies for medication refills and patient inquiries.

Manage appointment scheduling and assist with call center operations.

What We're Looking For

Experience : 2-3 years as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.

Skills : Strong communication, patient interaction, and multitasking abilities.

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred : Prior experience in OB / GYN or women's health is a plus.

Certification : CMA / RMA preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Work Environment

High-volume, patient-focused women's health office.

Professional attire required : scrubs, closed-toe shoes, no visible piercings.

Modern facility equipped with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for streamlined care.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 / hr.
