Neuro RN Job Details Location : Peoria, Illinois (61637) – Illinois nursing jobs Unit : Neuro Med-Surg Acute (54 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – healthcare jobs Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour day shifts (0700-1900), 3 shifts / week, every other weekend and holiday rotation Charting System : EPIC Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990-$2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application Minimum 1 year of dedicated neuro nursing experience Level 1 trauma experience required Previous travel nursing experience (no first-time travelers) BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications Proficient in heparin titration based on PTT Ability to float within neuro and general units Neuro RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for patients with neurological conditions : stroke, spine surgery, seizures, brain tumors, and head injuries Titrate IV drips, including heparin, per protocol Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses and house supervisors (24 / 7 support) Document and chart patient care using EPIC Participate in weekend and holiday rotations Float to other units as needed, within competency Attend a comprehensive 2-day orientation with unit educator and preceptor Maintain professional appearance (no specific scrub color, tattoos covered, ear piercings only) Apply now to join our healthcare team for this Neuro Registered Nurse travel job in Peoria, Illinois!
