About the Role

Fritz Staffing Group is seeking one experienced Electrical Foreman for ongoing and upcoming projects throughout South Jersey. Work will range from residential to heavy industrial , offering a diverse workload and long-term stability.

This is a direct hire placement to one of our established South Jersey clients , not a temp role. The client is a reputable and growing electrical contractor looking for a strong leader to add to their team.

This position is local only — no per diem is available. Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Franklinville, NJ and have reliable daily transportation.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise and lead electrical crews across residential, commercial, and industrial projects

Plan, layout, and oversee installation of Rigid, EMT, PVC, and RobRoy (OCAL) conduit

Manage installation of cable trays, basket trays, and conveyor systems

Direct complex conduit layouts and oversee large wire pulls

Perform and supervise power and control terminations

Troubleshoot and repair control systems, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs , and low-voltage controls

Install and maintain electrical panels, transformers, and power distribution systems

Ensure compliance with NEC and site-specific requirements

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet deadlines

Required Technical Skills

NJ Journeyman Electrician License preferred

Strong residential, commercial, and industrial electrical background

Proficient with power & control terminations

Advanced conduit bending and precision installation experience

Skilled in troubleshooting power and control systems

Experience with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics

Safety & Compliance

OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)

Knowledge of LOTO procedures , arc flash, and electrical safety best practices

Strict adherence to PPE and all safety protocols

Soft Skills & General Requirements

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage crews

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in various field environments

MUST live within 60 miles of Franklinville, NJ (No exceptions)

Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation

Willing to travel occasionally for short multi-week assignments (local / regional only)
