Robert Half is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a hybrid role with one of our clients based in St. Helens, OR. This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in general accounting who thrives in a mix of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities :

• Complete month-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure alignment and accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and process journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and other general ledger accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and variance analyses.
• Support audits (internal and external) by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle additional general accounting tasks and special projects as needed.
