Job Responsibilities & Requirements :

Required Experience & Skills :

Minimum 2 years of experience

Must have Level I Trauma experience

Travel experience required

Strong Cardiovascular OR skills, including :

CABG

Aortic aneurysm repair

Mitral valve replacement

VAD

Pericardial window

Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR)

TAVR

Atherectomy

Atrial Septal Defect repair

Cardiomyoplasty

Must be comfortable in CVOR setting

Ability to float to qualified units if needed

Call required : at least 2 days per week + 1–2 weekends per 6-week schedule

Certifications (Required) :

CST

NBSTSA

BLS (AHA)

Preferred Skills :

Angioplasty / stenting

First Assist

General OR

Trauma

Teaching hospital experience

EVAR, TAVR procedures

Additional Details

Patient population : Adults & Geriatrics

Average of 3 heart cases per day

Weekend shifts : minimum 5 per contract
