Manager - Corporate Accounting | Troy, MI | Hybrid

Job Title

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, the position will handle diverse tasks aimed at ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations of Henry Ford Health. This position will also be responsible for review and preparation of monthly account reconciliations, integration and accounting related to acquisitions and special projects as assigned. Manages staff in the various duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise monthly account reconciliation process including journal entries related to assigned areas of responsibility.
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, fixed asset records and bank statements.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee related administrative functions.
• Handle ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, or special projects as assigned.
• Assist in updating and creating accounting policies and procedures.
• Accounting liaison with other departments.
• Participate in / support the quarterly / annual external audit process.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Recruit, train, lead, and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and accountability across the team.

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required. Master's Degree and / or CPA preferred, but not required. 7 years in Accounting or related field required. Previous supervisory and / or consulting experience is preferred.
