American Traveler is hiring a multimodality CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and X-ray experience, ARRT (R) & (CT) certification, and trauma experience required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a teaching hospital and level 1 trauma facilityWork in both CT and X-ray modalities providing quality imaging and patient carePatient population includes emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic casesUses Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EMR, and PACS systemDay shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM with every 3rd weekend requiredNo on-call requiredPossible floating to like units within the scope of practiceProduce and interpret CT and X-ray images as requested by licensed practitionersMust confidently explain and educate patients about proceduresTeam environment within a Magnet-recognized, teaching, and trauma facilityTeal blue scrub top and black bottoms requiredAll time-off requests must be submitted before assignment begins and are subject to approvalPrevious perm staff (including PRN) must have a one-year gap before returning as a travelerParking requires a one-time $20 fee for nights and weekendsPre-assignment modules must be completed as part of onboardingTravelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years experience in CT and X-ray requiredMust be registered with ARRT in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)SCRQSA certification requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)Experience in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic imaging highly preferredExperience with Siemens equipment and Epic EMR highly preferredRadiation badge must be provided by the agencyFirst-time travelers are not accepted for this positionAdherence to a 60-mile radius rule; locals may be accepted with adjusted rateLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
