Houskeeper - Hotel

Position Overview:

As a Housekeeper at Marriott, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to the overall success of our hotel. You will work closely with other members of the housekeeping team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 years of related experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently (and in a team).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to speak multiple languages

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to Marriott's standards
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Assist guests with any requests or inquiries they may have
• Work collaboratively with other members of the housekeeping team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards

Work Conditions & Physical Demands

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a commercial setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, people, and equipment.
• Able to work independently or as a team member and support managers with special projects.
• Strong collaboration skills – works well across functional areas—excellent relationship-building skills; able to collaborate with various levels of the organization.
