Base Pay Range

$150,000.00 / yr - $300,000.00 / yr

Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a dynamic Tax Director to lead our tax department in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in managing tax compliance and strategy for various business entities, including LLCs, S‑Corps, C‑Corps, Partnerships, and Sole Proprietorships. The Tax Director will be responsible for developing and implementing tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and optimizing tax positions.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for LLCs, S‑Corps, C‑Corps, Partnerships, and Sole Proprietorships.

Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and related documentation.

Conduct research and provide guidance on complex tax issues and changes in tax legislation.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax‑related inquiries and audits.

Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on LLCs, S‑Corps, C‑Corps, Partnerships, and Sole Proprietorships.

Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of tax professionals.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a public accounting firm or corporate tax environment.

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
