Calling all number-crunching masters and customer service professionals! The Cafe at Hoover Dam in Boulder City, NV is hiring a friendly, outgoing, and helpful person to work at our unique location as a full- or part-time Cashier .

Imagine commuting daily through a magnificent desert landscape before working above the roaring Colorado River. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 18+ years old
  • Basic math skills with an ability to handle cash and give back correct change
  • Some English communication skills
  • Organizational skills and multitasking abilities
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Willingness to work hard and collaborate with a team
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week - weekend and holiday availability would be ideal
  • Ability to perform physical tasks like regularly standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to maintaining Health Department regulations and earning a ServSafe certification

    • Fast food or retail experience would be preferred but isn't required for this entry-level role.

    YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A CASHIER

    Whether you join us on a full- or part-time basis, you make a meaningful difference for our customers and our cafe! You warmly greet guests, answer any questions, and provide great customer service as you ring up purchases and complete transactions. Working closely with your team, you help keep us efficient and productive.

    You prepare warm beverages, communicate with cooks about meal orders, and skillfully navigate our POS system. Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, you tidy up around the cafe, restock supplies, and perform closing duties at the end of the day. Your efforts keep our cafe successful and our customers happy!
