Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely storing finished product pallets into designated bay locations within the warehouse using a forklift or clamp. The operator must ensure proper alignment of pallets and compliance with storage requirements and procedures. Utilizing a Radio Frequency system, the operator enters product information into the inventory control system by scanning barcodes. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, removing damaged cases, sweeping, straightening pallets, and assisting the stacker. Additionally, the operator may be required to perform duties of the Warehouse team during breaks, lunch, or absences.
Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts or clamps to store finished product pallets in designated bay locations.
Ensure product alignment and compliance with storage requirements.
Enter product information into the inventory control system using a Radio Frequency system and barcode scanning.
Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by removing damaged cases, sweeping, and straightening pallets.
Assist the stacker in maintaining cleanliness at the sortation line.
Perform duties of the Warehouse team as needed to cover breaks, lunch, or absences.

Once hired permanently, employees enjoy pay increases to at least $19 / hour, with additional shift differentials for night shifts. The company also provides raises to contractors who perform well.
Work Environment
Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots on their first day, with reimbursements available once permanently hired. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment. The work schedule consists of 12-hour rotating shifts, operating on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on basis from 6 PM to 6 AM. Conditions include inside environments with extremes of heat up to 100 degrees in the summer, humidity, and noise from production machinery, necessitating hearing protection in the finishing area.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
