About The Position

Job Title :

Registered Nurse Cath Lab Travel (Days, 7a 5 : 30p)

Schedule :

Shift : 07 : 00 17 : 30 (10-hour days)

Assignment Type : Travel

Hours : Full-time, 4 10s (40 hours per week)

On-Call : Required; frequency per unit needs

Job Summary :

The Cath Lab RN provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role is responsible for monitoring patients physiologic and hemodynamic status, assisting physicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety throughout.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct nursing care during angioplasty, stent placement, EP studies, TAVR, Watchman, and vascular interventions

Monitor and document patient condition and hemodynamics continuously during procedures

Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, supplies, and equipment

Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered

Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Participate in performance improvement and staff training activities

Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies

Qualifications :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice (required)

BSN preferred

BLS and ACLS (AHA) required and must be maintained

Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or Critical Care experience (required)

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, equipment, and monitoring

EPIC EMR experience preferred
