Nutritional Services Manager
The Nutritional Services Manager provides support to patients and staff by assuring the delivery of wholesome attractive meals, enforcing strict sanitation requirements, and conducts all management functions of the department including financial and operational.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certification & Licensure : Certified Dietary Manager or eligible required within (2) years of employment. Certified Food Protection Manager required within (2) years of employment.
Qualifications : Broad knowledge of food service administration and supervisory techniques. Familiarity with methods of procurement, preparation, serving, sanitation, storage, charging for services. Sufficient previous experience with related demonstrable knowledge and skills. Basic knowledge of computers and its functions as applicable. Legible handwriting skills. Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply based on the age of the patient served (see Job Description Addendum - Age Specific Competencies).
