DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Psychological Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized psychological support to the interdisciplinary team. You will be conducting functional behavior assessments to identify and address psychological and behavioral challenges and then developing evidence-based recommendations for psychological intervention. Your clientele will include individuals across the full spectrum of intellectual disabilities and those with co-occurring mental health diagnoses.

Key responsibilities will also include :

• Developing and overseeing mental health support actions (MHSA), including drafting plans and monitoring progress.
• Delivering in-person training to staff on MHSA implementation and data collection.
• Providing individual and group counseling services.
• Guiding the team in the delivery of effective, evidence-based care.
