Primary Responsibilities
Adhere to the Commercial timeline to ensure all tasks are performed promptly and efficiently.
Work independently and self-manage to maintain workload within designated timelines.Customer Relationship BuildingBuild strong relationships with key customers by acting with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
Provide outstanding customer service to current and future clients, assisting with questions, changes, claims, certificates of liability, and more.Professional CommunicationRespond to customer inquiries professionally via phone, email, or fax.
Renewal and MarketingAttend monthly marketing meetings with Producers 90-120 days prior to policy expiration.
Review renewals upon receipt, identify changes, and advise Producers on additional strategy if needed.Prepare accurate applications and submit them to carriers for quotes when necessary.Compare quotes and prepare a marketing spreadsheet with the best options for customers, recommending the optimal choice to Producers or customers.Proposal and Policy ManagementPrepare renewal proposals as needed.
Verify the accuracy and compliance of all policies received from carriers.Deliver policies according to Producer or customer instructions.Coverage AnalysisRead contracts to ensure adequate customer coverage.
Analyze coverages and recommend additional beneficial coverages.Coordinate with other departments to solicit additional coverages not carried by the agency.Administrative and Support DutiesAssist with accounts receivable collection as requested.
Familiarize yourself with each insurance carrier’s product lines, underwriting process, and websites.Stay informed about market changes.Attend customer meetings with Producers when requested.Share knowledge and experience with CSRs and other agency members as needed.Be available for insurance carrier meetings when requested.Manage and file customer documents in the agency management system.Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
