Licensed Practical Nurse-TN

Job Summary :

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and supports the medical and clinical team at the mental health and substance abuse facility in Knoxville & Seymour, TN. This role ensures quality care for patients in Residential Facility, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) by administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining medical records while adhering to all healthcare compliance and safety standards. Hiring Day shifts Night shifts (6pm-6am) PRN positions available!

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care & Clinical Support :

Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to coordinate patient care.

Serve as the Infection Control Designee , ensuring infection prevention protocols are followed throughout the facility.

Qualifications :

Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience , preferably in mental health, behavioral health, or substance abuse treatment.

CPR / BLS certification required.

Strong documentation and EMR proficiency.

Work Environment :

12 hour shifts - Night Shift 6pm-6am. PRN
