Lead Plumber

Preferred Professional Plumbing, a family-owned and operated company in Lombard, IL, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Plumber . This full-time role offers competitive pay of $35 – $60 per hour based on experience.

WHAT YOU DO :

As a Lead Plumber, you will perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing systems, install, repair, or replace domestic water lines, fixtures, and pumps, and lead troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts for steam, water, and gas distribution systems. You will interpret mechanical and structural blueprints to plan and execute plumbing repairs and modifications, ensuring safety compliance and adherence to best practices on every job. In addition, you will assign and monitor tasks for apprentices and junior plumbers, provide professional customer service, and maintain clear communication with clients.

YOUR SCHEDULE

The Lead Plumber will work Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM , with rotating weekends and on-call availability. Overtime opportunities are available as needed.
